The revised edition has cleaner chapter flow, sharper historical context, improved navigation, and more careful distinctions between documented history, local folklore, and our own investigation experiences. I also refreshed the practical details surrounding the real places in the book. Historic sites change hours. Properties change hands. Some locations welcome tours, while others are active churches, working waterfronts, residential roads, or places best encountered through the story rather than as ghost-hunting destinations. The new edition makes those boundaries clearer. The same haunted heart What has not changed is the spirit of the book. Haunted South is still my love letter to Mobile and the Gulf Coast: a landscape of moss-draped oaks, salt air, old brick, storm memory, family stories, and mysteries that refuse to be neatly explained.
