There are places in the South that seem to remember us.
Gardens where the air feels softer.
Paths where stories linger just beneath the gravel.
Porches, blooms, and old trees that invite us to slow down and listen.
This spring, you are invited to step into one of those places.
The Southern Garden Pilgrimage is a small, intimate gathering created for readers, kindred spirits, and those who feel called to beauty, story, and shared presence. It is not a tour rushed by schedules, nor a weekend meant to be consumed and forgotten.
It is a walking gathering.
A remembering.
A chance to belong.
Together, we will wander through historic Southern gardens at the height of spring bloom, sharing stories, conversation, quiet moments, and laughter. We will pause for reflection, enjoy good food, and gather in beautiful spaces where imagination and memory meet.
There will be time to walk.
Time to listen.
Time to sit together and simply be.
This pilgrimage is intentionally limited in size, created to feel personal, unhurried, and meaningful. Whether you have walked with these stories for years or are newly discovering them, you are welcome here.

Day One — Bellingrath & Spirits with Spirits
We’ll begin at Bellingrath Gardens, walking the gardens and touring the house together at an easy pace. After lunch, we’ll gather for Spirits with Spirits—a salon-style gallery reading with conversation, stories, and shared presence.
Day Two — Oakleigh
Our second day brings us to Oakleigh Historic Complex, the historic home where Seven Sisters first came to me in a dream. I’ll share that origin story, walk the grounds with you, and close our time together in quiet reflection.

Standard Gathering — $695
A complete and intimate two-day pilgrimage experience.
Includes:
- Guided visit to Bellingrath Gardens and house
- Group lunch on Day One
- Spirits with Spirits gallery reading
- Guided visit to Oakleigh Historic Complex
- Origin story and shared reflection throughout the weekend
🕯️ Patron Circle — $995
An inner gathering for deeper presence and ritual.
Includes everything in the Standard Gathering, plus:
- Signed keepsake edition of Alabama Gothic
- Reserved seating at the gallery reading
- Coffee and conversation with me on the morning of Day Two
- An exclusive evening drumming and prayer circle, held in quiet reverence, to close the pilgrimage
- Priority invitation for future pilgrimages and private gatherings
Patron Circle participation is strictly limited to preserve intimacy.

Travel and lodging are not included.
