October Musings from a "Prolific Writer"

It's October 1st, as I'm writing this and I'm sitting on my bed listening to the wind whip around the corner of my house. We're expecting some rain, maybe a storm. That's evidence that cooler temperatures are on the way here in lower Mississippi. I dragged out treasured fall issues from years gone by. It's kind of my own tradition. I love the graphics of fall, the smells of fall and everything fall, really. And I love October big time. It's my favorite time of year and has been all my life.

I have so much cool news to share with you, I hardly know where to start. Big stuff first, I suppose. Tantor Media made me an amazing offer for the Gulf Coast Paranormal series.
Which is kinda crazy since I just hired a talented narrator, Dara Kramer to bring the GCP's story to life. However, with some renegotiating, (Thanks, Dara!) I am definitely working with Tantor and the lovely and talented Dara will be working on Wife of the Left Hand, the first book in the Sugar Hill series. I'll have big news on audiobooks in the next few months. You guys lucked out!
Next big item, I'll be on Ryan Pelton's Prolific Writer podcast soon. I'll be chatting with Ryan this Wednesday, sharing my indie experience with him and anyone who cares to listen. It's funny to think that I'll be on the same podcast as some of my writing heroes, like Dean Wesley Smith and Amanda M. Lee. (Insert incredulous-faced emoji here.) And to be honest, The Prolific Writer podcast has long been one of my favs. Along with the Sell More Book Show and the Science Fiction and Fantasy podcast. Hopefully I won't sound too dumb for radio. LOL

And on that note, just a reminder that The Ghost Lights of Forrest Field (Gulf Coast Paranormal 6) will be out in November. The next book in the Return to Seven Sisters series, All the Summer Roses comes out on the 15th and Halloween Screams, my short story collection comes out on October 30th. It's my goal to continue to release books in the Gulf Coast Paranormal and Return to Seven Sisters series every six to eight weeks. I want to keep faithful readers happy! But I am facing a dilemma and I need your help. I can squeeze in another first book in one of two new series but I'm wondering which. Which do you think?

King Arthur is dead and the dream of Camelot has ended. Guinevere thought her life was over, that she would spend the rest of her days in a convent or hidden away in Avalon but she couldn't have been more wrong. Cursed by Morgan LeFay, Queen Guinevere is banished from Avalon and must face the ages alone, hiding in the shadows as a vampire. Through the centuries, she's watched Arthur and Lancelot return over and over again but her love for them both has kept her away. Until now. Morgan LeFay has returned with an ominous threat and once again Guinevere is forced to make an impossible choice but one she cannot avoid. Supernatural forces are arrayed against the once powerful queen but can she overcome them and settle an ancient score?

Jerica Poole had no idea how quickly life could change until hers was ripped apart at the seams. After a messy divorce and the tragic death of her daughter, she jumps at the chance to accompany a sweet yet mysterious client, Annie Belle, on what may be Annie’s last trip home to Desire, Mississippi. Within twenty-four hours, Jerica finds herself swept up in a fifty-year-old mystery: who killed Jeopardy Belle? When she begins exploring the Belles’ old homestead, she discovers that some of the Belle ancestors live on in ghostly form and would love nothing more than to add Annie and Jerica to their numbers. Small-town drama and a rich southern background add to the tension of this riveting ghost filled, murder mystery.

I absolutely love both these series! Each will be four books but I can't choose which. I need your help.

Help this writer pick her next series,
Guinevere Forever or The Belles of Desire, Mississippi.
